SHELLY'S ARTWORK

It is with regret that I must inform you that my website is now closing for good.
I received an e-mail from Ebay today, 24/04/08, stating the following.....

'The rights owner for the item you listed sent us a signed legal statement telling us that your item infringed their copyright, trademark or other rights. We were therefore legally obliged to remove the listing'

It turns out that the BBC Worldwide LTD has decided that it objects to me selling my own artwork.!
At this point in time I do not have the means to argue with them and have decided that rather than risk them taking legal action against me I will just stop selling.
As Dr Who was my most successful artworks of recent months it's just no longer viable to keep the website up and running or selling anything on Ebay.
My artwork shop will be closing down on Ebay along with this Website.

I would like to thank all of my customers from the last 10 years.
I have sold at conventions and memorabilia shows, on Ebay and through this website and have had a real blast.
Sadly this is finally it and I will miss it terribly.

SO LONG GOODBYE AND THANKS FOR ALL THE FISH!

Sylvester McCoy and Sophie Aldred were a laugh.
As you can see Sophie was very heavily pregnant at the time
and Sylvester was a real joker when posing for photos!

Paul McGann was a charmer!
This was taken before I became hooked on Hornblower and long before
I re-ignited my interest in Dr Who!
The artwork he is signing was one of only 2 Dr Who pieces in my collection for a really long time and now there's no stopping me!

I have had the pleasure of meeting Anthony Head on numerous
occasions and he's a really funny guy.
I've been a fan of his ever since his Nescafe Ad days and I am
proud to say that I am one of his fans who has actually seen him
play Frankenfurter in the Rocky Horror on stage in London and he was an absolute scream!
I was front row, centre stage and the memory of him in the basque will be a fond memory for years to come.

James Marsters.
One of my favourite guests and again, someone I have met on numerous occasions.

Me and Corin Nemec.
God I look so tired in this photo!
This was a particularly busy weekend at Collectormania and I had
barely any time for sleep.
Even the Costa's Mocha Flake had lost it's zip by this point.

Corin Nemec.
Loved my artwork so much he kept buying keyrings to take home to friends and relatives.

This photo brings back a great memory!
It was a Stargate/Earth Final Conflict convention in London and it was a Sunday morning.
Being one of the dealers I was up and about bright and early while everyone else nursed hangovers and as Sunday mornings tend to be
quite quiet at these events I thought it was the perfect time to get my photo taken with the Earth Final Conflict boys.
I was first in the queue with no sign of them anywhere.
They eventually turned up about a half hour late and were 'very' hungover but with all due credit they started to have a laugh and get into
the right frame of mind for their photo shoot.
We all had a really good laugh and when it came time for the first photo of the day, Robert Leeshock pinched my bottom!
Needless to say, I went back to my dealers table with a very big grin on my face.

This was a Nocturnal convention.
I was asked to do a piece of artwork that people would be able to get signed by the guests and I was lucky enough to be able
to get my photo taken with most of them, including Joss Whedon himself.

Michael Shanks and Christopher Judge actually came to my home town a couple of years ago.
A friend of ours owned the small sci-fi shop in town and had arranged for them to do a signing one evening and wanted me to take
photos of the event for him.
He also asked me to do a dedicated piece of artwork for the evening that completely sold out!

Peter Wingfield......looking very Dr Who ish don't you think?
Methos from Highlander and one of my favourite actors.
At the time this photo was taken I was helping to run the UK side
of his fan club and I actually had the priviledge of interviewing him
before organising a club meeting with him.
My fondest memory..... he bought me a beer!

Peter again, this time with the sadly missed Richard Biggs.

Virginia Hey
A very spiritual lady, just like her Farscape character.

John Rhys Davies is always popular at memorabilia events.

Dirk Benedict was a real sweetheart.
My eldest daughter attended this show with us and she had a really good conversation with him. I will always remember walking away
from him and she turned to me and said..... who is he Mum? priceless.

I must take her to more conventions because she also managed to get a personal audience with Billy Boyd too!
She got so upset that he hadn't chosen her to ask a question during one of his talks that a minder took us round to the guests private quiet area so she could ask him personally. I didn't have my camera!!!!!
Having kids really pays off sometimes!
